This plant has unique curly blue-gray leaves. It is easy to grow as long as it is receiving ample sunlight and is kept in well draining soil. Let soil dry out between watering and limit watering in the winter. Zone 9b-11b
Our plants grow in a mixture of cactus soil, sphagnum peat moss, and organic potting soil. We use a base of Lava rock, Pumice, Granite and Turface to help with drainage and to maintain moisture. They are topped with a horticultural grade vermiculite and are in a 4″ plant liner. We fertilize all of our plants with an organic liquid kelp seaweed extract.
